Farmstead Swiss originated in the town of Maasdam in Holland as an alternative to the more expensive Emmentaler. Farmstead Swiss has a sweet buttery, nutty taste with a fruity background and is lovely in casseroles, fondue, and sandwiches. It is also a perfect pairing with fruit.” Wedges are typically in the .4 – .5 lb range.
